Opportunity to Give Adaptive Mountain biking a Go!

Join us for an exciting opportunity for individuals with disabilities to experience adaptive mountain biking! This event is designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for participants to try riding for the first time.

Event details

• Location: Beautiful Redwoods Under the Sails Venue (Longmile Rd / Titokorangi Dr)

• Support: Friendly volunteers will be on hand to assist participants

• Equipment: Custom equipment will be matched to each participant's needs

• Bookings: Essential to ensure proper equipment allocation

• Food & Drinks: Food vendor onsite

• Riding Trail: From our base under the sails participants will enjoy a ride around the Mokopuna loop (see video here)

• Be prepared: Please arrive ready to ride. The forest canopy is great for natural sun protection, but it keeps things quite cool underneath. We strongly recommend dressing in layers so you can adjust to the conditions. We have a large sail marquee to shelter you while you get set up, but once we head out, we ride rain or shine, so be ready for the possibility of getting wet!

• What to bring: If you have one please bring your own helmet, if you don't not to worry we will have a few on loan. So other than that just a good attitude

• Don't miss: Saturday night join us for a relaxed evening gathering with riders, whānau, supporters, and volunteers. Meeting at the Good Eastern Taphouse at 5pm
