About the event
The #AdaptMTB National Adaptive Mountain Biking Festival is New Zealand’s premier gathering for the adaptive MTB community. Held in the stunning Whakarewarewa Forest, Rotorua, this weekend-long event brings together riders of all levels to connect, learn, ride, and celebrate.
From first-timers to experienced athletes, everyone is welcome.
The festival features a mix of hands-on experiences including a Give It a Go day, coaching and guided sessions, fun competition, and social events for riders and whānau.

Organised by the #AdaptMTB Charitable Trust, this event is all about breaking barriers, sharing knowledge, and building a strong, inclusive adaptive mountain biking culture in Aotearoa.

Bring your own adaptive bike and join us for a supportive coaching and trail session designed to boost your skills and confidence. LOCATION: AdaptMTB Gazebo - Waipa Ride Hub With small group and 1:1 coaching, we’ll match you to the right coach and trails for your goals. Build skills, connect with mentors, and explore more!

Sunday Enduro Fun Day
Bring your adaptive bike and take on four fun, adaptive-friendly trails in this relaxed enduro-style challenge. Ride each stage as often as you like—your best times count! Podium prizes for top riders, plus spot prizes and fun categories. Celebrate community, competition, and the joy of adaptive MTB!
